Reducing Your Problems.

May be a sign you are misunderstanding your role in your life.

You can thank the early pioneers of science in the 16th century and the snowball effect since then of taking LIFE and all of the biggest questions we have and reducing every problem down to one idea.

One solution.

One answer.

Except when you run an experiment in an extremely controlled environment which the process is geared towards getting a single answer from - does not take into account the volume of changes to conditions in the outside world.

It does not mean science is wrong, that would not be a claim I would make, it means that the science of reduction cross-pollinating into the mainstream thinking is causing chaos in many peoples lives.

When social scientists take a small experiment and try to test it en mass it often backfires.

Meaning taking an idea that works for one doesn't mean it works for many.

Trying to pinpoint the single cause of your problems is not going to help you alleviate it.

Actually it's going to infuriate you more and leave you without the appropriate line of thinking.

I love that saying "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" because what we often think is the cause of a problem may not be related to the problem at all.

But with our dwarfed perception or lack of insight or simple poor reductionist approach think we pinpoint the error and that's what needs to be corrected.

A quick example.

If you're in debt it is not a lack of money that is the problem. It starts in your relationship to money - when and where did that start, your conversation about money, your habits with money, the skill you have in earning it, the discipline in managing it, your self-image, your beliefs and much more.

Earning more money is not the answer but most people think it is.

This is where I think three of the answers are in your philosophy toward life combined with your strategy to deal with life and then the personal behavioral changes you need to make - as a starting point.

You see, there was not one thing to fix to make things better.

It's a multifaceted approach that gives you more tools to operate with and more control.

If we take the philosophy component of this note and apply it you can begin by taking your problems and re-frame each problem using your power of perception.

See your problems are stepping stones to a better day.

See your problems as opportunities.

See your problems as a reflection of the errors in your personality you need to fix so you can pave the way for order in your life instead of chaos.

There will not be one single solution but if you attack a problem from multiple angles you will laser in and destroy it.

Power to you!
