Like To Be Disliked.

There is a deep urge pushing us to be liked and accepted by others.

It's natural but it's also a cautionary tale.

Are you seeking validation from the opinions of others because you do not trust in yourself?

The saying goes "if you try to be everything to everyone you please nobody and no one."

Ask the theologian and we must love those who hate us.

Ask the scientist and they say our brains are wired to judge those we don't know.

Ask a rapper and it's fuc* the haters.

Greatness is always misunderstood and confidence gets confused with egotism.

For you to be truly free, free to be you, learn to like being disliked.

It's a sign you are rising above the mediocre crowd of average performers.

Heck, if people are going to be talking about other people you may as well be the topic for daring to live authentically.

As Oscar Wilde once said "the only thing worse than being talked about; it not being talked about."
