Death. Your Time Is Up.

He woke up in a cold sweat, panting, gripping the bedsheets which were damp with perspiration.

The moment had arrived.

One he had long feared.

There was no more time.

He struggled to swallow as a flood of emotion washed over him like an angry tide.

Remorse for the time he spent working instead of sitting at the family dinner table sharing in the daily experiences of life.

That one last hug he could have embraced but was too caught up in the busyness of it all.

Regret for the loss of kinship with those he held closest to him because of petty disputes and points of difference that ultimately didn't mean anything.

Now he was alone.

A deep sadness enveloped his soul as he woke to the reality it was the death of his dreams that tormented him the most.

He spent his whole life cloaked in fear and believed in his own lies of worthlessness, not being good enough and that he didn't deserve love.

His eyes grew heavy with sorrow as a single tear escaped he lay back down and knew it would be his final moment.

The worst thing in a cemetery is not the countless tombstones that mark the graves it is the death of all the dreams.

You will pass from this earth and you never know when.

How you choose to live, is the blessing you are given.
